South Korean publisher Kakao games and developers from XLGAMES presented at G-STAR 2022 the debut trailer for their multiplayer action RPG ArcheAge 2.
Jake Song, an executive producer, revealed that ArcheAge 2 is currently in development on Unreal Engine 5 in 2020. However, the project has never received a single presentation.
The ArcheAge 2 debut trailer is available separately from Song’s interview. It takes about one minute and a a half to watch and includes fantasy landscapes and action shots with special effects.
ArcheAge 2 will be set in Auroria, the familiar world that people discovered and started to inhabit. The story will be about the discovery of secrets from an ancient civilization that was forgotten thousands of years before.
ArcheAge 2 will feature a seamless open-world, dynamic battles and an engaging narrative component. Unreal Engine 5 will provide advanced graphics thanks Unreal Engine 5.
Song said in an interview that ArcheAge 2 would improve the trade routes and house building systems familiar from the original game. It will also be possible to build entire settlements.
