“We used to issue a warning before suspending, but now when we run bulk verification there will be no warnings”
Elon Musk stated that Twitter users who impersonate someone else without clear indication that it’s a parody will be permanently banned.
Elon Musk stated in a separate post that Twitter had previously issued warnings before suspending. However, there will no longer be warnings. He also noted that exceptions will not be made by the platform.
“We used to issue a warning before suspending, but now when we run mass verification there will be no warnings. This will be clearly stated as a condition for signing up for Twitter Blue,” Elon Musk said, adding that any username change will temporarily remove the account verification checkbox.
Twitter updated its App Store app on Saturday to charge $8 for blue checkmarks.
Twitter now reaches out to many employees who have been fired and asks them to come back after it sacks half its staff. Elon Musk stated today that Twitter should be the source for the best information in the future.
The billionaire won’t also block the account of anyone who is following his private aircraft.
