Geekbench has published the results of the test with the Intel Core i9-13900T chips that have lower power consumption. The new product, despite its energy-efficient status, showed an advantage over the flagship model of the previous “blue” series processors.
According to Source, the 24-core novelty “knocked out” 2178 and 17,339 in the single- and multi-threaded Geekbench 5 discipline, respectively. The Core i9-12900K processor is statistically insignificant. However, it is worth noting that the nominal TDP for the new product is only 35W, compared to 125W for the flagship last year.
ASUS used an ASUS motherboard that was based on the Intel B660 chipet as a test platform. The company typically positions processors starting with T as monoblocks or business desktops. They are not allowed to sell retail products. However, in theory, the new chips could be an excellent solution for building a gaming PC that is energy efficient.
