Graffiti Games has revealed the exact release date for Elderand, a gloomy pixel-metroidvania, along with Sinergia Games and Mantra Games. A gameplay trailer was also released with the announcement.
You may recall that Elderand was shown back at the Guerrilla Collective indie show in June 2021. The release was planned for 2022. But, due to the confirmation of the Switch version the premiere was moved to 2023.
Elderand will be on sale for PC (Steam), and Nintendo Switch on February 16, as it was announced. Since December, a demo version has been available on Valve’s digital service.
Events Elderand will take place in a dark, gloomy and dangerous world that is inhabited by Lovecraftian-like creatures. To find the treasured glory of the game, players must defeat bosses and monsters using weapons from an impressive arsenal.
Developers promise a variety (a village and a forest, as well floating islands, a cursed Temple, the underworld, and more than 60 types and bosses), intense battles, and upgrading skills and weapons.
