Graffiti Games has revealed the exact release date of Elderand, a gloomy pixel-metroidvania, along with Sinergia Games and Mantra Games. A gameplay trailer was included with the announcement.
You may recall that Elderand was shown back at the Guerrilla Collective indie show in June 2021. The release was planned for 2022. But, due to the confirmation of the Switch version the premiere was moved to 2023.
Elderand will go on sale for PC (Steam), and Nintendo Switch on February 16th, as it was announced. Since December, a demo version has been available on Valve’s digital service.
Events Elderand take place in a dark, sinister and mad world with creepy Lovecraftian creatures. Players will need to defeat bosses and monsters in order to find treasured glory.
Developers promise a variety locations, including a village, forest, dungeons, floating islands and the cursed temple, underworld, intense battles and more than 60 types enemies. There will also be a dozen bosses and upgrading skills and weapons.
