The Steam store updated its active user record. On January 8, 33 million people used it simultaneously (3,078,963). Notably, the previous record for the Steam store had been broken just a day earlier, when 32 million people were online on January 7.
SteamDB reports that at the moment, the SteamDB service has updated the record for the number gamers who played any game. Accordingly to SteamDB, there were 10,284,568 such Steam Users.
Steam has experienced steady audience growth over the past months and is continually increasing its numbers. Last October, Steam was able to boast 30 million users. Valve’s record has been updated twice in one weekend.
You may recall that Valve recently introduced an improved search system on Steam for games, which added support for languages. Among them were Belarusian, Kazakh and other languages that are supported in Windows.
