Sony claims that the PlayStation 5 crisis is over. During CES 2023’s presentation, Sony’s head gaming stated that “anyone who wants a PlayStation 5 will not have any trouble finding one at stores around the globe.”
PlayStation 5 launched in November 2020. It was difficult to find it in stores by August 2022. And even if it was, the prices were outrageous.

The company is gearing up for the launch in February of PlayStation VR2.
