Sony intends to continue releasing PlayStation exclusives on PC. Sony posted a vacancy as a senior director for development for the PC game market in the PlayStation Global structure.
Future specialists will have to interact with senior managers from other departments, decide the development strategy for the segment that is being given to him, and help with budgeting for future PC ports.
Remember that Sony bought the Nixxes Software Studio last year. This was in an effort to accelerate the process of porting their PC games. Nixxes specializes on PC: The studio has been porting Deus Ex and Marvel’s Avengers to the platform.
In a May 2021 investor report, the Sony Group publisher announced plans to release Uncharted 4: The Thief’s Ende from Naughty Dog for PC.
Sony has taken systematic steps to reach the largest gaming platform by purchasing Nixess Software and searching for a developer director for PC games.
