Although there aren’t all the details
Qualcomm has revealed its Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 single-chip system. This is Qualcomm’s latest flagship smartphone.
Qualcomm claims that the CPU’s performance has improved by 40% over its predecessor and that the GPU is 25% more powerful. The configuration details are not yet known, as Qualcomm has always said that the system is built on Adreno GPUs and Kryo processor cores. We can currently only speak of a frequency between 3.2 and 3.2 GHz.
These are just a few of the key features.
A separate point is worth mentioning the Cognitive ISP (or rather its features). Qualcomm claims that the 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HP3 photo sensor is optimized for Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Additionally, the new platform can be tuned to Sony’s new image sensors.
The platform is made using 4 nm process technology. The platform also supports LPDDR5x-4200 RAM.
