Sega has revealed to investors a substantial increase in new games due for release by March 2023. This will include remakes, remasters, as well as brand new releases. She also reported strong sales for both console and PC games.

The profit increased by 5% over fiscal 2021. Sega predicts even higher fiscal 2023 numbers, arguing there will be more revenue and releases from projects during fiscal 2022.

Due to its success, the company intends to return to classic franchises as well as release remakes, remasters, and offshoots. Sega reports that games in this category sold approximately 4 million copies during the fiscal year. This includes Sonic Colors Ultimate and Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania.

Sega estimates that this category will have 5 million sales by March 2023. Sonic Origins (compilation Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic 3 & Knuckles & Sonic CD) will be available June 23rd.

Sega reported that 7 of its games had simultaneous launches worldwide and support for multiple platforms in the last fiscal year. This resulted in 6 million copies being sold. Sega expects more than a doubling of sales in its fiscal year 2023 due to an increase in the number and simultaneous launches of new games globally.
