Geekbench lists the forthcoming budget smartphone Samsung Galaxy A24. This benchmark confirmed key hardware characteristics and allowed us to assess its performance without waiting until the premiere.
During tests, the device coded SM-A245F scored 561 in a single-threaded mode and 1943 in a multicore mode. For comparison, the results of the Galaxy A23 with the same amount of RAM (4 GB) are 522 and 1669 “parrots”, respectively. Although the processor model doesn’t reveal its source, it is clear that this chip has two productive cores and six energy-efficient ones.
According to rumors the Galaxy A24 will have a 50-megapixel main cam and will, unlike its predecessor, be built on Qualcomm’s MediaTek or Qualcomm mobile platform. Exynos will not be used. The gadget also comes with a 5000mAh battery and a 25-watt fast charging function. The price and date of the smartphone’s announcement have not been revealed.
