As promised, Xbox and Bethesda Softworks hosted a Developer_Direct presentation on January 25th. Here they shared more details about their projects and took photos. Let’s sum it all.
First, Blackbird Interactive and Mojang Studios showed the PvP Mode (the first in Minecraft history) and a new trailer to their strategic action game Minecraft Legends.
Minecraft Legends, as it was announced, will be on sale April 18 for PC (Steam), Xbox Store, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X. It will also be on sale on Game Pass (PC or Xbox).
A new demo was also released by Forza Motorsport, Turn 10 Studios and Developer_Direct. They presented an updated sound model and improved graphics, as well as new release dates for 2023 (not spring).
Forza Motorsport will be available for PC (Steam and Microsoft Store), Xbox Series X, S and Game Pass (PC or Xbox). They promise one “Career”, an online mode that will allow you to drive more than 500 cars and upgrade them with 800 upgrades. There will also be 20 locations.
The third, as expected, presentation by Tango Gameworks studio (The Evil Within dilogy, Ghostwire Tokyo), was Hi-Fi Rush. It turned out to be bright rhythm action game about Chai, an aspiring musician, and his struggle against an evil mega-corporation.
