Philips has released their QD-OLED monitor, the Evnia 34M2C8600, in German stores for €1,410 with a resolution of 3440×1440 pixels.
Philips Launches QD-OLED Monitor: Evnia 34M2C8600
We previously reported on the news that Philips was developing a QD-OLED monitor, and now it has finally become a reality with the arrival of their new product in German stores. The Evnia 34M2C8600 is priced at €1,410 (~540,000 forints), which is €400 less than the suggested retail price announced earlier.
Samsung Display Technology
The product is based on Samsung Display’s advanced technology with a curved quantum dot OLED panel measuring 34 inches diagonally. It boasts an impressive resolution of 3440×1440 pixels and has a degree of curvature measuring at1800R.
Advanced Features
In addition to its stunning display capabilities, this monitor also offers an incredibly fast response time of just 0.1ms as well as support for HDR materials using HDR10 standards.
Other notable features include:
- A maximum image refresh rate up to175 Hz;
- Theoretically infinite contrast ratio; and,
- A peak luminance rating up to10000 cd/m².
