Alexey Koptsev was the founder of Cyberia Nova. He shared footage and details of the historical role-playing activity Troubles with the Game World Navigator. For its development, the Internet Development Institute awarded a grant in the amount of 260 million rubles.
Remember that the story was inspired by the novel “Yuri Miloslavsky or Russians 1612”. According to the plot Miloslavsky takes part in the Battle of Moscow as well as other important events and contributes towards the end of the Troubles.
Koptsev claims that Miloslavsky begins the journey by taking an oath of Tsarevich Vladislav, which is the Poles. He ends up being an active member the second militia and transforms from a young man into an actual man. “Leaved life lessons”.
The Troubles required costume designers, historians, and reenactors from the developers. Koptsev considers the educational component to be one of the most crucial components of the game.
“The Troubles project is the very chance when we can convey important historical information to schoolchildren, but not so directly, but in an immersive way, when a person immerses himself in the material and imperceptibly becomes smarter”says Koptsev.
For the actual game, the combat system of “Trouble”, will be based upon the “role” the main character can take (robber, prince, peasant or buffoon). Each image depicts a unique weapon or pumping.
Wolfs, robbers (likhoimtsy shisha, gangs mercenaries), regular Polish units, and co-religionists will be the opponents. Aside from privates, foremen, and officers, bosses also will appear – the first will include Miloslavsky’s former mentor.
