According to reports, 290 MSI motherboard models do not have Secure Boot, which is responsible in part for UEFI secure boots. MSI reported that they disabled it in one of their firmware updates. This means that images of operating systems can run on any computer, regardless of whether or not they have a digital certificate and their authenticity.
