Minisforum, which specializes in small computer production, has announced the new Neptune HX99G model. It is compact in size at 3 liters and can house a powerful AMD Ryzen 9 processor as well as a Radeon RX6000 series graphics card.
Minisforum Neptune HX99G measures 205 x203 x69mm. It contains an AMD Ryzen9 6900HX octacore processor with a clock speed of 4.9 GHz and Radeon RX6600M (RDNA2) mobile graphic card with 8 GB GDDR6 VRAM, a TDP of 100W and Radeon RX6600M (RDNA2) with a Radeon RX6600M (RDNA2) mobile GPU. There are seven heat pipes used for cooling (three on each CPU and four on GPU), liquid metal on both the processors, two fans, and large heatsink.
The computer can support 64 GB DDR5 (4800MHz RAM) Data storage is possible with an M.22280 PCIe4.0 slot (SSDs up to 2TB) or another M.22280.
The device can support up to four monitors: two with 4K resolutions and 60 Hz via HDMI 2.0; two with 8K resolutions and 60 Hz via USB 4, and two with 4K resolutions and 60Hz via HDMI 2.0. Additional ports include 3 x USB3.2 Gen2 Type A, 1 USB3.2 Gen1Type-C, 1 USB3.2 Gen1Type-A, 1 USB3.2 Gen1Type-C, and 1 USB3.2 Gen1Type-A. Separate 3.5mm headset and microphone jacks are also available.
Minisforum Neptune HX99G starting at $839 without RAM and storage. The minimum configuration of 16 +512 GB costs $979 while the highest variant, 64 GB + 1TB, is $1199.
