The prices are slowly falling
Despite criticisms regarding their price-performance ratios, it seems that GeForce RX 4070T Ti and Radeon RX7900 XT cards are in high demand.
The Web has published sales data for Germany’s largest Mindfacrory shop over the last week as well as the total time for the entire period (relatively to each model on the 3D map).
The RTX 4070Ti, which sold 280 units, was last week’s undisputed leader. Comparatively, the RX7900 XTX, RX7900 XTX, and RX7900 XTX each sold 120 and 100 units respectively. That means one Nvidia model was more popular than both AMD products. RTX 4080 sold 70 units, while RTX4090 was purchased 90 pieces.
But if you take a look at the sales figures for Nvidia and AMD new cards in the Mindfactory network over time, it is quite different.
This means that the Radeon RX7900 XT is most popular, while the RTX4070 tip is the most common among Nvidia card. They both have one thing in common: they are the cheapest of the new AMD and Nvidia line. The RX 7900 XTX sells significantly less than its younger sibling. The real difference in price is around 300 euros, instead of the 100 recommended.
It is worth noting, however, that Nvidia’s top models went on sale prior to AMD’s cards. The RX7900 XT at least beats the RTX4080 and RTX4090.
Currently, RX7900 XT is the cheapest on the Mindfactory Network. It costs 944 euro, RX7900 XTX – 1120 euros, RTX4070T – 910 Euros and RTX4080 Ti – 1330 Euros. RTX4090 – 2525 euros.
