Chinese technology company Xiaomi plans on expanding into wearables market by releasing smartwatches powered by Google’s Wear OS platform later this year. Some reports suggest they might even launch two variants – Mi Watch Lite with GPS support priced around $60-$70 (approx.) and Mi Watch Revolve Active priced around $120-$140 (approx.). With fitness tracking features like heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, a long battery life, a large AMOLED display, and water resistance capabilities up-to “50 meters”, these watches can compete against established brands such as Fitbit.
