AMD has yet to release mid-range desktop graphics card based on RDNA 3 architecture. However, the first rumors about the cards’ performance have been posted on the network. Insiders say the news could disappoint gamers who were hoping to replace the “red-colored” graphics adapters in the past generation with a more modern model within the same price bracket.
All_The_Watts posted a tweet on Twitter by an insider revealing details about Navi 33’s graphics chips. It is claimed that it will make video cards less powerful than the Radeon RX6750 XT, which is mid-budget.
Notebookcheck’s journalists claimed that Navi 33 solutions will be 15% faster than RX6650 XT models. Considering that the latter roughly corresponds to the GeForce RTX 3060 in terms of its gaming power, the future “red” GPUs will be inferior to the current NVIDIA solutions comparable in price. The insider’s prediction should be taken with caution until the product characteristics are known.
