Studio 343 Industries announced plans to majorly update the sci-fi shooter Halo Infinite. In August, the developers will offer an online co-op campaign.
343 Industries announced that the third season’s Halo Infinite content would begin on November 8. Split-screen will be available in the game. Open beta testing for the Forge mode will take place in September 2022.
The studio identifies the root cause of the delays with the management’s approach to employees. They place the health and well-being their team first. 343 Industries still admits that content is not being produced as fast as it would like.
Last summer, the studio stated that Halo Infinite would not receive a Forge mode nor a co-op campaign. It was instead planned that the cooperative passage would be included in the second season, and “Forge”, the creative mode, during the third.
Halo Infinite can be downloaded on PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X.
