Google announced a new version Android Auto. Its user interface can be adapted for screens of various sizes and orientations. This update will be made available later in the year.
Android Auto is now able to display split-screen interfaces by default. It was only available on select car models previously. This approach is expected to make it easier and more comfortable to use key functions such as navigation, multimedia, and messages.
“We previously had a different screen mode available in a very limited number of vehicles. This new feature is available in all types of vehicles, regardless of their display size or form factor. It’s a very exciting upgrade.”Rod Lopez, Android Auto Senior Product Manager, said, “That’s what I think.”
Android Auto is known for adapting to any touch screen size, no matter how large it may be. This change is important because car manufacturers often get creative with the infotainment screens they use. Google stated that Android Auto’s new version will meet all requirements regardless of the size or display used in the vehicle. Android Auto’s new version is expected to become available later in the year.
