Google has released a new version Android Auto. The user interface is now optimized for different screen sizes, orientations, and types. This update will be made available later in the year.
Android Auto is now able to display split-screen interfaces by default. It was previously only available for certain models of cars. This new approach is expected make it more convenient and easier to access the key functions of this platform, such navigation, multimedia system, and messages.
“We previously had a different screen mode available in a very limited number of vehicles. This feature will now be available regardless of the type, size, or form factor of your vehicle’s display. It’s an exciting upgrade.”Rod Lopez, Android Auto’s Senior Product Manager, commented, “Yes, it is,”
Android Auto can adapt to any size touch screen. This is important because car manufacturers often get creative with the infotainment screens they use. Google claimed that Android Auto 2.0 will be compatible with all display sizes and displays. Android Auto’s new version is expected to become available later in the year.
