GIGABYTE decided to upgrade its laptop range at CES 2023. Two new models were introduced within the AERO Creator line of laptops for content creators, the AERO 16 OLED model and AERO14 OLED model. These models are equipped with OLED displays, as their name implies. They also use the most recent chips from Intel or NVIDIA.
GIGABYTE’s AERO 16 OLED displays a 16-inch OLED 4K display with a 16/10 aspect ratio. The screen has been passed two-color calibration. It also received XRite 2.0 Factory Display Calibration, Pantone Validated certification. Color accuracy is remarkable at Delta E 1. In addition, the sensor is TÜV Rheinland certified for low blue light emission and minimal flicker.
The 18mm chassis houses a 13th-Gen Intel Core processor (i9-13900H, i7-13700H), and NVIDIA GeForce RTX40-series discrete GPUs up to the RTX4070. NVIDIA Studio technologies and NVIDIA Ai tools are claimed to be compatible with the 18mm chassis, such as Omniverse and Canvas. It is unknown what the memory capacity and battery life will be. Support for next-generation DDR5/LPDDR5 RAM, and PCIe Gen4 SSDs was announced.
The more compact GIGABYTE AERO14 OLED weighs 1.49 kg and features a 14-inch 2.8K OLED screen with a 16:10 aspect ratio. It is claimed to display 100% DCI–P3 color gamut, and is VESA DisplayHDR600 TrueBlack certified.
The 14-inch model comes with an Intel Core i7-13700H, Core i5-12500H processor, and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX4050 discrete graphic card. The USB Type-C connector charges the laptop. The 16-inch model has the same memory. Additional features include a microSD slot, the ability of connecting up to three 4K displays, and authorization using Windows Hello.
