Fitbit Health Metrics Now Available for Free

Fitbit has made its health data feature, Fitbit Health Metrics, available to all users by moving it from the previously paid-for premium tier to the free tier. This means that everyone with a supported wristband or smartwatch can now access and use this feature.

About Fitbit Health Metrics Feature

The FitBit Health metrics is a specialized function designed to collect different types of health data and compile various reports based on them. Previously locked behind the paywall of their premium subscription service, these features are now available for free.

Data Collected in Compilation

The information collected includes respiratory rate, heart rate variability (HRV), skin temperature, oxygen saturation (SpO2) and resting heart rate (RHR). However not all devices support every measurement – only those measurements supported by specific models will be unlocked upon upgrade .

Rollout Status Update

This changes have already been implemented although some user may take days or weeks before getting full access to these new features depending on where they are located in terms of global positioning. Users can expect seeing updates starting today as long as they have an updated app version installed..
