Quick GPT searches in the iOS App Store return an app at the top that claims it uses OpenAi’s GPT-3 technology, but requires $7.99 to gain full access.
OpenAi launched ChatGPT in 2022. Although the company made ChatGPT available online for free, experts warn that scammers may create fake ChatGPT apps.
Another app that appears in the search results has a rating 4.7 stars based on more than 900 reviews. It claims it supports GPT-3, and offers paid subscriptions starting at $12.99
It was $7.99/month and had more than 12,000 reviews. It is no longer available.
