Techland, an independent Polish studio, has revealed the release date and details of the third major patch to their open-world zombie action title Dying Light 2 Stay Human in a press release.
The main innovation in 1.3.0 will be “New Game +” (“NOT +”) mode that allows you to replay the game using skills and equipment already acquired. The rerun will not include the paraglider or grappling hook.
It will also include 30 new inhibitors, a new quest and new parkour challenges (platinum-medals will be included in the old ones), legendary weaponry, adjusting enemies to your hero’s level, as well as co-op with friends from outside NI+.
Update 1.3.0 will also address a variety of bugs related to coop and other death loops. Also, it will increase the spawn rate for Special Infected and add a field-of-view setting (only available on PS5 or Xbox Series X).
Patch 1.3.0 is due to be released on April 27, on PC (Steam Epic Game Store), PS4, PS5, Xbox One X, Xbox Series X, and S. Dying Light 2 also will offer a second set challenge and events with infected mutants. The first story addon will be available in June.
