Game Informer has released an exclusive video showing the PC version of the shareware RPG Diablo Immortal, following today’s announcement by Blizzard Entertainment. The video also includes comments from the developers.
Wyatt Cheng from Diablo Immortal says that the PC version was released after the team realized that some gamers were desperate enough to play the game through an emulator.
Blizzard notes, Diablo Immortal is primarily a mobile entertainment game that has been adapted for the PC. This includes support for a mouse, keyboard, and mouse (including WASD control), as well a reduced interface.
Game Informer released a video that contains more than 20 minutes of footage from Diablo Immortal. It includes segments showing desktop, mobile, or both.
Diablo Immortal will be available for iOS and Android on June 2. A beta version will be released on PC (Battle.net). They promise cross-play, transfer of progress between platforms, and the final version of the software at the end.
