The United States is home to the most ATMs, followed by Canada.
The country has not seen any significant progress in its Bitcoin ATM growth since July 2022, when bitcoin fell to around $23,000 from its record highs.
Although most ATMs are located in the USA, others are experiencing growth. Since the start of last year, the number of ATMs in Europe increased by 100. This includes 430 ATMs in Canada, Spain, 50 ATMs, Poland, 30 ATMs, and Australia with 190.
According to Coin ATM Radar the global number of ATMs is now at 38.641. Despite the fact that it represents an increase of 14051 since 2021’s beginning, there has been very little change in the last year, even after the collapse of crypto markets.

El Salvador, once the third-ranked country, is now in fifth place, behind Australia and Spain.
Lightning Network has been integrated into Bitcoin ATMs. These ATMs are able to process transactions immediately using LN which could reduce transaction fees.
