Smartwatches are becoming more accurate in measuring vital signs and tracking activity. More attention is being paid now to how these devices can be used for improving sleep quality and mental health. Citizen is attempting to achieve this goal by presenting a new line CZ Smart smart watches at CES 2023. These will go on sale later in the year.
The main characteristic of this novelty is the ability of the owner to assess his or her psychomotor state. To perform this task, the user must complete small tests in Alert Monitor. According to the developer, the tests are based upon the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s (NASA) tests that are used to evaluate astronauts’ psychomotor readiness and fatigue.
The CZ Smart watch also features sleep tracking. Citizen reports that the software within the watch can detect the user’s chronotype to identify whether he’s a lark, or an owl. IBM Watson Studio is used to process sleep data. IBM Watson Studio processes sleep data. It also combines other data such as heart rate, sleep quality, and physical activity data. The device then makes recommendations to improve the user’s condition. The technology used to generate recommendations for improving the condition was also developed by NASA.
CZ Smart watches are available in sizes 41mm and 44mm. The CZ Smart watch has a 1.28 inch OLED display and a round case. The Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 4100+ microprocessor was the hardware base of the novelty. This processor is complemented by 1GB of RAM, and an 8GB hard drive. The device includes a WiFi wireless adapter, Bluetooth module and a GPS receiver. The rechargeable battery is capable of providing up to 24 hours continuous operation and can be replenished in about 40 minutes.
The CZ Smart Watch has many of the same functions as other devices of its type. It has a speaker and microphone. You can also install and run other applications like Spotify and YouTube Music. Wear OS is the operating system and it can be synced to Android and iOS phones. The standard CZ Smart costs $350 while the sporty version will run you $375.
