ChatGPT’s monetized version will be called ChatGPT Proffesional. The company surveyed Discord members to find out how much they would like to pay per month for ChatGPT.
ChatGPT has been implemented in some companies by investors. Ryan Reynolds used ChatGPT for an ad for Mint Mobile (a mobile operator that he partly owns).
ChatGPT had more than 1 million users as of December 1. According to CEO Sam Altman, ChatGPT costs OpenAI a lot.
Microsoft will apparently integrate ChatGPT in its Office suite and Bing search engines.
The company is currently under pressure to make profits. OpenAI projects that it will make $200 million in 2023, which is a small amount compared to the $1 Billion invested in the startup.
Semafor earlier this week reported that Microsoft was seeking to purchase a 49% stake at OpenAI. This valuation of the company is $29billion.
