The popular BLIK will be even easier to use and allow for international payments.
The Polish Payment Standard (i.e. The operator of the BLIK payment system has recently become a member in good standing of the international SWIFT network. All required procedures were completed in April. This is another step toward the internationalization of the Polish system.
BLIK joins SWIFT
SWIFT (Association for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunications), allows for the automated and quick execution of international transfers. By joining SWIFT, the BLIK operator can make settlements using euro.Users will soon have much more convenience thanks to the app.We will also accept BLIK overseas payments. It was previously possible to use it for purchases on foreign ecommerce platforms (e.g. Aliexpress, but foreign banks do not offer it. The Polish company is working continuously on this. Romania will likely be the next country where BLIK launches after Poland.
Another option may be to send international funds to the recipient’s mobile number. BLIK via phone has been in operation for some time. Users will be delighted by such quick transfers, and many already look forward to them. Please be patient.
Keep in mind the scams that exist and be aware of how to avoid them. For example, you could receive a fake message about a BLIK transfer and end up losing money.
