AyaNeo 2, a portable game console from China, has been announced by the company. The console runs the most recent mobile AMD Ryzen series (Rembrandt), a processor based on Zen 3+ architecture and a 6-nm process technology.
AyaNeo 2, which is based on a Ryzen 7 6800U 8-core, 16-thread Ryzen7 6800U, has a frequency range of 2.7 to 4.7 GHz. Its maximum frequency is 300MHz higher than that of the Ryzen 7 5800U Cezanne used in the AyaNeoNext box. RDNA 2 architecture is used to create the integrated graphics for the Ryzen7 6800U CPU. It is also used in the Steam Deck portable console’s AMD Aerith custom processor.

AyaNeo 2, with its integrated Radeon 680M graphics processor and 12 compute units, will have iGPU performance that is significantly higher than any competitor. This is four more blocks than Steam Deck. An additional plus is the operation of the Radeon 680M at a higher frequency – up to 2.2 GHz, i.е. 600 MHz faster than the Valve settop box. The integrated GPU in AyaNeo2 is twice as fast as the Valve set-top box, with 3.38 Tflops versus 1.66 Tflops for Steam Deck. Aya’s chief said that the new console’s graphics are comparable to the GeForce GX 1050 Ti.

The Ryzen 7 6800U processor runs in a dynamic TDP of 15 to 28 Watts, which allows you to adjust the power consumption to suit your needs. Modern portable consoles can usually be connected to a special docking station, or an external charger to maximize the TDP. This is how the Steam Deck works.

AyaNeo 2, the manufacturer, demonstrated how the device functions in different games. On the console were also launched Metro Exodus (Cyberpunk 2077), Witcher 3 Elden Ring, and others. Apparently, the console is equipped with a display with a resolution of 1280 × 800 pixels. The frameless screen makes AyaNeo 2 stand out against the background of the Steam Deck or Nintendo Switch.
The console will also be equipped with a fingerprint scanner, and other software features that the company isn’t yet ready to reveal. AyaNeo 2 should be out by the end of 2012. The exact release date is not yet known.
