ASUS unveiled a new series of ASUS ZenBook laptops during CES 2023. All models now feature OLED displays and the most recent Intel and NVIDIA chips.
The Zenbook Pro 16X 16X series flagship is positioned by the company to be the most powerful Zenbook series laptop. It comes with an Intel Core i9 13905H CPU, as well ASUS Supernova system-on Module (SoM). Supernova SoM allowed to reduce the area of the motherboard by 38%. ASUS Supernova SoM can improve 3D rendering and video editing performance.
A liquid metal thermal interface was also reported. The curved evaporation chamber is also used in the laptop cooling system. With these improvements, the device can now be operated with stability at a total TDP 155 watts.
The laptop is equipped with a 3.2K (3200 × 2000 dots) OLED touchscreen with 16:10 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate and HDR support.
The device specs include 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 2TB PCIe Generation 4 x4 flash storage. There are also dual Thunderbolt 4 ports and an SD card slot. An HDMI 2.1 connector is available. A 96 Wh, Pen 2.0 input support and MU Switch technology.
The Zenbook Pro 14 OLED is built using a 13th generation Intel chip. This includes a Core i9-13900H paired to a GeForce RTX40series graphics card and a GeForce RTX407070. A reliable cooling system ensures that the system runs at a stable TDP 105W.
The laptop is equipped with a 14.5-inch 2.8K (2880 × 1800 pixels) OLED screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz, providing 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut. The display supports Dolby Vision technology, and is Pantone Validated.
