ASUS displayed the world’s fastest monitor at CWS 2023, with a refresh rate 540Hz. The company had to do some tricks to achieve this result. They equipped the new product with a Full HD resolution matrix. Others parameters, however, remained the flagship.
ROG Swift ProPG248QP monitor is designed for gamers who value screen refresh rates and response time more than clarity. This novelty features a 24-inch ETN matrix with Full HD resolution that covers 90% of DCI-P3 colors and a maximum refresh rate at 540 Hz. NVIDIA G–SYNC is supported, the monitor has HDMI 2.0 and DP 1.4 ports as well as an ESS DAC which almost eliminates audio latency.
Another innovation of the company was its monitor with the index “PG27AQDM”. This OLED model is the first of its kind and has a resolution of 2560×1440. The matrix diagonal measures 27 inches. The refresh rate is 240Hz. There is a delay of 0.03ms. DCI-P3 coverage is 99%.
This monitor supports HDR (peak brightness of 1000 nits), and has an anti-glare coating. It also features an advanced cooling system that reduces heat buildup in the case’s back. The prices for the new products are unknown.
