Apple’s third quarter revenue grew by 25% over the previous year. However, new MacBook Pro models won’t be available this quarter. Corporate customers are being lured into deep discounts. Small businesses can get a 10% discount by purchasing 25 notebooks from this series.
Given Apple’s pricing policies, this discount is very generous. Bloomberg reports that this fall, MacBook Pro buyers will be able to enjoy an 8% discount on any combination of 5-24. To receive a 10% discount you must purchase at least 25 copies. According to the source, the offer is valid until December 24th.
MacBook Pro laptops with M1 series processors are also available through a proprietary trade in program. Apple is limited in its options for stimulating demand as it has no new releases and a decreasing demand trend. As expected, the new generation MacBook Pro models that are based upon M2 processors will not be available until the start of next year.
