However, they will be very different from smaller Intel cores
AMD had introduced several Ryzen 7000 mobile processors earlier in January, including the new Phenix Point (Ryzen 740HS). According to the latest data, AMD will release other APUs in the same line this year with an unusual configuration.
AMD is expected to release some processors in the second half year that will be listed as PHX2 or Phenix Point 2. The current models (PHX), have eight Zen 4 cores with up to 768 RDNA stream processors. However, the maximum configuration of the PHX2 will include two Zen 4 cores, four Zen 4C Cores, and a GPU with 296 stream processors. TDP will drop from 15-35+W for the current line down to 15-28+W
Most interesting is the Zen 4C Cores that AMD has not officially announced. They were mentioned by AMD, who said that it is not an architecture that is distinct, but the same Zen 4C cores but that have been physically reduced. There had been evidence of reduced cache memory. Zen 4C cores are going to be used in Epyc Bergamo 128-core server CPUs. This is a well-known fact, but mobile Ryzen 7000 has never been mentioned in this context.
PHX2e models might also be available. These will have Zen 4C cores and a TDP of 9W. AMD has introduced Ryzen 7000 APUs that are extremely powerful and have the most recent CPUs and GPUs. However, AMD will be introducing more efficient processors later in the year.
Two insiders shared the information: Kepler who once shared data about past generations of Ryzen and All The Watts who accurately described Ryzen 7000 just before their presentation.
