AMD unveiled a number of products at CES 2023 Las Vegas. AMD showcased the Ryzen 7000 series mobile processors, which are extremely powerful. Some models will also combine hardware AI solutions and x86 CPUs in the new series for the first-time.
Ryzen AI technology is added to the traditional hardware component for processors. The AMD XDNA “adaptive” architecture technology will be limited to select models of the 740 series processors. It is only available for processing AI algorithms. AMD claims Ryzen AI processors are up to 20% more efficient than Apple’s M2 chipsets and 50% more powerful. Microsoft cooperation will also enhance the user experience with new models of Windows 11.
Ryzen 7045HX Designed for mobile gamers. The series processors were able to use up to 16 cores (32 threads) on the Zen 4 architecture. These solutions, which are based on 5nm technology provide DDR5 support up to 18% quicker in single-core and 78% in multicore tests, compared to the 6900HX. These processors will be offered in Alienware and ASUS products, as well as MSI products. According to Lenovo, the processors will be available in the Legion series. The company claims these will be the best AMD gaming laptops it has ever made.
Series Ryzen 7040HS Includes processors up to 8 cores of the Zen 4 architecture. These processors are made for ultra-thin laptops and feature integrated GPUs from the AMD RDNA architecture. Ryzen 7040HS, a processor made in accordance to the 4nm process technology provides high performance for thin and light systems.
AMD claims that Ryzen 7040HS processors offer up to 34% higher performance than other competitors and up to 21% better gaming performance. OEM partners will have access to these solutions starting in March 2023.
Processors Ryzen 7035 It is based on 6nm technology. It can receive up to 8 cores. They have been specifically designed to ensure maximum battery life. These modules are based upon the Zen 3+ architecture. Acer and ASUS will start using new products in January.
AMD Ryzen 7030 You will be able to use up to 8 cores of the Zen 3 architecture. It provides a “balance between power, proven performance, and efficiency” that allows you to get the most out of your systems. The Radeon family will integrate GPUs into processors. Acer, Lenovo Lenovo, HP, and ASUS will offer Ryzen 7030 laptops beginning in January.
