AMD completes version of Genoa platform for embedded systems with basic capabilities similar to original platform, offering up to 7 years of product support.

AMD Genoa Platform for Embedded Systems Completed

AMD has announced the completion of the Genoa platform designed for embedded systems in the server market. The basic capabilities remain largely unchanged from the original platform, which we reported on previously.

The new version supports two off-chip ROMs for secure boot capability and Non-Transparent Bridging (NTB) to enable data exchange between two redundant CPUs, increasing system reliability. Additionally, AMD offers up to seven years of product support.
