Acer announces updated Swift laptops that feature cutting-edge specs, eye-catching designs, and bright but affordable high-resolution OLED screens.
The Acer Swift Go 16 (SFG16-71) and Swift Go 14 (SFG14-71) models open the series – their OLED screens offer brightness up to 500 cd / m², 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space, and also meet the requirements of VESA certifications DisplayHDR True Black 500 and TÜV Rheinland Eyesafe. The older model is equipped with a 16-inch display with a resolution of 3200 × 2000 pixels and a frequency of 120 Hz, while the younger one received a 14-inch screen with 2880 × 1800 pixels and 90 Hz. Computers are powered by the Intel Core H 13th-generation processors. Intel Evo validation is present. The battery life is 9.5 hours.
Both models have a thickness of 14.9mm. The widths of the frames around display are 4.2mm for the 16-inch model, and 4.15mm for 14-inch models. The ports include USB Type-C (Thunderbolt 4), HDMI 2.1 and a microSD reader. The 1440p webcam supports Temporal noise reduction (TNR), and Acer purifiedView for high quality video calls. It also announced support Acer PurifiedVoice technology which delivers pure sound through AI algorithms. The laptops come with SSD (PCIe Generation4) up to 2TB and up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM.
Acer Swift X 14 (SFX14-71) laptop has a NVIDIA GeForce RTX4050 mobile discrete graphic card. 14-inch OLED screen has a resolution of 2880×1800 pixels and a frequency of 120 Hz, brightness up to 500 cd/m², 100% DCI color coverage -P3 and VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 500 certified. A 1080p webcam has been installed to support video calling. PurifiedView and PurifiedVoice technologies by Acer are supported. The case includes two USB Type C ports, an HDMI 2.0 connector and a microSD Card reader.
Acer Swift 14 (SF14-71)T features a sleek, lightweight aluminum body. It measures just 14.95mm thick and is 1.2kg in weight. The laptop’s 13th generation Intel Core H processor is Intel Evo-certified and provides up to 9.5 hours of battery life. The user is given a choice between 14-inch WQXGA (2560×1600 pixels) and WUXGA (1920×1200 pixels) resolution touch screens with Corning Gorilla Glass. The webcam supports TNR, Acer PurifiedVoice, and DTS Audio technologies. A fingerprint scanner is available, as well as two USB Type-C (Thunderbolt 4) ports and one HDMI 2.0.
The Acer Swift Go 16 will debut in March starting at €1099, the Swift Go 14 will go on sale in February for €999, the Swift X 14 will be available in April starting at €1499 and the Swift 14 will be on sale in January for at least €1699 .
