December will see the release of cards
AMD continues to release details about the Radeon RX7900 graphics cards. After data about the GPU’s structure, and the speed of Infinity Links’ bus, it is now time for the cooling system and PCB.
So the RX7900 XTX reference converter received a 14-layer PCB along with four additional copper layers. Most consumer 3D cards use 10 layer PCBs.
Two eight-pin power connectors are used to power new items, as we know. The power subsystem is 20 in the top AMD card.
It is not unusual in its cooling system. AMD points out the large vapor chamber at its base. There is also an additional temperature sensor within the cooler. The CO shroud is also made of aluminum.
